Due to popular demand, Adult Sunday School will continue throughout the summer.
Join us at 10:00 each Sunday for donuts, coffee, and good conversation. We will be viewing short videos and discussing the content each week. Our thanks go out to Richard McCarthy for organizing and leading our Sunday School class! Come and see!

Starting in June, we will return to our pre-COVID style of worship streaming. We will stream only the 11 am service, and will no longer be overlaying the words to hymns and prayers on the screen. If you are still worshipping at home and would like a hymnal to sing along, call the office at 817-573-2337.We hope you’ll join us in person at 8:45 or 11:00 on Sundays if you would like, and feel well. Masks are no longer required, but if you choose to wear one, your decision will be treated with courtesy and respect.
Click to read our June newsletter. Lots of important news and updates about events in our church now that we are meeting in small groups again and are able to do so without masks (if desired).
In response to new guidance from the CDC, the Session has voted that all church gatherings, including worship, are mask optional with no stated social distancing requirements.
Anyone deciding to wear a mask is encouraged to do so and that decision will be treated with courtesy and respect. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines regarding children under 12 and our nursery protocols will remain in place. When interacting with our young children, please do be mindful that they have not had the opportunity to be vaccinated.
Mark you calendars now for the Annual Church Picnic on this Saturday May 15, 5:30.
This year the picnic will be held at the home of Lawson & Linda Allen, 200 Bahama Court. BBQ, ice, bottled water and condiments will be provided. You are asked to bring a side dish to share. Bring a camp chair if you have one, yard games, and any beverage you’d like other than the bottled water provided. It’s on the lake so you are welcome to bring fishing stuff, life jackets for children, swim floats, and S’more supplies.
See the May edition of The Bridge for more information. Join us for this fun fellowship event.
Adult Sunday School Returns! We are happy to announce that we will resume Adult Sunday School this Sunday, April 18th. We will gather right after early service for coffee and socially distanced fellowship and will then get on to our lesson beginning at 10:00.
Richard McCarthy will be reintroducing the video series that he started last spring. The video series is “Seeing Humanity Through The Eyes of God” by Rabbi Harold Cushner. Richard will be starting over at the first video, so it’s a perfect opportunity for new folks to join us along with those who were present last year. We received good “reviews” from those who were participating last year and hope this series will speak to all as we begin again this year.
Note: We do not yet have Children’s Sunday School up and running, but parents are welcome to bring children with them, if they prefer. We plan to have Sunday School for the children in the next few weeks. See you at Sunday School!
Beginning this Sunday, March 28, we will return to our schedule of two services at 8:45 and 11:00. Having two services will enable us to more safely distance during worship. The 8:45 service will be live streamed.
The Session has voted to resume in-person worship in our sanctuary on Sunday, March 21st!
A few important facts:
· In-person worship will be held at 10:00 AM on Sundays.
· Ushers will be on hand to help us maintain social distancing.
· Masks and social distancing will be required.
· Hand sanitizer is available for use upon arriving and departing.
We will closely monitor the number of folks who attend to ensure we are observing appropriate social distancing. If our numbers exceed social distancing requirements, overflow seating will be available in Fellowship Hall, where we will live stream the service. We will be aware of our numbers and will move to two services if necessary.
Please do not feel obligated to attend in-person worship just because the doors are open! We want everyone to worship in the manner that best fits their needs. Online worship will continue as usual. If you feel uncomfortable attending in-person worship or if you are unable or prefer not to wear a mask, we encourage you to join us online. Of course, if you are not feeling well, please remain home for the safety and well-being of everyone.
We look forward to worshipping with you all, in-person and online, starting Sunday, October 21st.
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” Psalm 95:6
Beginning March 7, our worship services will be livestreamed at 10:00 a.m. (still ONLINE ONLY at this point). You may access the live stream via Facebook and YouTube directly. We will also send the link via email each Sunday morning. If you miss the livestream at 10:00, the service will be available via Facebook and YouTube anytime after.
