If you have the necessary talents coupled with a faith filled caring heart, contact us right away to partner with FPC to shape, create, and implement future generations of dedicated disciples. Excellent pay: $25 an hour for Lead Attendant, and $20 an hour for the Assistant Attendant – approximately 5 hours per week (Sunday morning 8:30—11:30 and Wednesday evening 2 hours). This is a total of 18 volunteers! The church will obtain the background checks on any volunteers who need one updated with our Faith Family. The precious children that God loans to us would be blessed by your love and nurturing. Even if you have recently volunteered we are prayerful you will volunteer again!

The Pastor Nominating Committee is pleased to announce that it was a unanimous decision to accept the nomination of Rev. Angela Madden Scott to serve as the new Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Granbury. Her position will begin on June 1, 2024. She and her husband, Jack, and 14-year-old son, Major, will be moving here from Missouri. We are thrilled for the future of FPC with Pastor Angela.
In her own words, “I have been blessed by the call to Granbury and the hand of God has been felt and observed in the details of the match. It is a deep honor to walk alongside of you and journey together with Jesus. In 18 years of ministry, I have been blessed. Some of the highlights have been worshiping, sharing, celebrating saints, youth outings, leading in crises, and officiating weddings and baptisms. I’m excited by new partnerships in Granbury within the church and the community, and give gratitude to God for calling!”
